Rachel Evans, the Educator behind “An Education in Translation” is a foreign language Florida educator who has taught Spanish to middle school, high school and college bound students. Ms. Evans, who is a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast received her B.A. from the University of Southern Mississippi in Spanish Secondary Education and an MLS in Global Affairs with a concentration in Translation Studies from the University of Denver. Ms. Evans’ love of culture, language and diversity stems from her own bicultural background. She enjoys teaching language and strives to expose her students to the many ways in which possessing linguistic skills can play a major role in their career successes. Currently, she is embarking on a new journey as a freelance translator, copywriter and an advocator for careers in the Language Services Industry.
